Speech by PM: Prihatin Package for SMEs (Additional Measures)

The Prime Minister has announced an additional allocation of RM10 billion in the Prihatin Package for SMEs (Additional Measures) in order to relieve the financial burden of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) who faced with cash flow problems following the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO). Speech by PM: People-Centric Economic Stimulus Package (Prihatin)

The Prime Minister has announced that an economic stimulus package worth RM250 billion was set up so as to ease the financial burden of the Malaysian citizens affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. In this package, RM128 billion will be used to protect the welfare of the people. RM100 billion is allocated to support businesses including small and medium enterprises and RM2 billion will be utilised to strengthen the economy. For the rest of RM20 billion, it has been announced in the previous stimulus package (ie. on 27 February 2020). He added that "No one will be left behind".
